If you have a design concept that you want to become a reality or you are looking for expertise in the field of wine room design, Kessick is your partner. We provide consultation on wine racking and storage options, the complex issues of climate control, the room build-out process, recommended building materials, and more.
Kessick provides a complimentary 3D color CAD design and PDF presentation to your specifications (Design Request Form) based on our comprehensive catalogue of wine rack components. We also provide SketchUp components available through 3D Warehouse to enable you to create your own wine room designs with our scalable components.
Kessick manufactures and ships fully assembled, box construction wine cabinetry built to your order. We do not sell stick construction or kit racks. Our wine components are ready to install immediately upon delivery. This results in a much easier installation and a more refined final product.
Our components are constructed of hardwoods (Sapele, White Oak and Walnut) and ¾” Columbia Pure-Bond® hardwood core wood panels. We do not use redwood or pine.
When compared to custom casework and high-end marketed wine racks, Kessick Wine Storage Systems are an amazing value. ‘Kessick Quality’ is not just a saying; it’s how we do business.
Kessick crafts fully assembled hardwood wine cabinetry and cannot be compared to the many unassembled kit rack and stick construction products available on the marketplace.
However, we find that we are still competitive on many of the price comparisons when you consider that the installation process is minimized due to our ready-to-install format, pre-installed LED lighting, factory countertop and millwork joinery, integrated install rails and more.
A design begins with the completion of the Design Request Form along with a room sketch, architect plans (optional) and any inspiration photos from Houzz, etc. The more information we can get at the beginning of the design process the quicker we can produce an accurate design and quote.
Kessick Essentials allows a design it yourself option in SketchUp using our Essentials Catalog in 3D Warehouse. See the Essentials page for more info.
To begin the design process, a Design Request Form is submitted along with floorplan, room elevation sketches and any inspiration photos that you find on Houzz or elsewhere.
Kessick will produce a comprehensive color 3D design, at no cost, to be used as a sales presentation. A design fee is implemented with any future changes and updates (see design fee policy).
Once a final design is determined a 50% deposit is collected and Kessick creates a comprehensive, dimensioned design for customer approval. In addition, a sales summery form is sent to the dealer for review and approval. The Sales Summary reviews final price, wood species, stain/finish selection, shipping location, and more.
Upon approval by signature of these forms the job goes onto the production schedule and an estimated shipping date is provided.
Prior to completion, the shipping arrangements are confirmed and an invoice for the balance is submitted.
Upon final payment the job is shipped.
A typical timetable from design approval and deposit to ship day:
